The 2024 Great Kings and Queens of the Capital Region is a fundraising benefit to support The Cultural Center @ 64 Quail St in Albany, NY in its continued efforts to Stem Violence and Feed the Community. This event honors and recognizes leaders who have used their talents and commitment to create lasting and impactful change.

Join us as they receive their coronation as The Great Kings and Queens of the Capital Region. Albany Common Council President Corey Ellis will be the event’s keynote speaker. Festivities include a Live Band, DJ, Food and more.

*The Gala is Hosted by The Cultural Center/Williams Francisco Initiative and will honor the following members:

Mona Golub, Price Chopper Vice President

Norman Young, Contractor and President of DCMC Construction

Angelo Maddox Jr, Entrepreneur and Motivational Speaker

Wanda Willingham, Deputy Chairwoman Albany County Legislature
