Joining Opal will be Darienne Lake from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 6 and “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” season 8 along with local favorites Portabella, Stella Progress and Noa Progress!

Meet the Queens
Darienne Lake is a drag queen, comedian, host and television personality. She began performing in drag in the 90’s in Rochester, New York before rising to prominence after placing in the top 4 on the sixth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and returning for “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” season eight. Darienne Lake is described as a vixen, vamp, a sexy, curvy Glamazon who loves to bring out the sparkle in herself and others.
Portabella is a Capital District-based Drag/theatre performer. This versatile diva brings that fierce and funny energy you won’t forget! She can be found this spring and summer at Collar City Pride events and in local Albany and Troy nightlife! @portabella.baby
Stella Progress has been making a splash in the Albany drag scene since May of 2021 and has performed in various locations around New York State as well. You can see her regularly at local bars, local brunches and dinner shows in the Capital Region and hosting karaoke weekly at the People’s Pub in Chatham.
Noa Progress has been performing in Albany and across New York State. You can often see Noa performing at Waterworks Pub and at ROCKS. Through the art of drag, she aims to spread the body positivity movement by being the “body” in “Everybody Say Love!” She’s excited to have the opportunity to perform at theREP and to be able to ring in pride month with you all!
Opal Essence is so excited to be back again at theREP for another drag show! Opal has been seen on stages and screens all over the country! She has performed in many places such as Micky’s Weho, The Quest, Boston Museum of Science, The Stable in Providence RI and many more! You can catch her locally hosting at Unbeatable in Schenectady, Waterworks Pub in Albany and ROCKS Nightclub in Albany. Opal has also been featured on season 4 of “Camp Wannakiki” which is streaming now on OUTTV!
