2025 Buskers & Brews

Saturday, June 28, 2025

An afternoon of music, drinks, and downtown charm!

Join us for a roaming celebration of live music and local flavor with the 2025 Buskers & Brews, a self-guided passport event inspired by “Once,” the Tony Award®-winning musical coming to theREP this summer!

Start your adventure at Capital Repertory Theatre, where you’ll grab your Buskers & Brews postcard and enjoy a complimentary cocktail, beer, or wine while the first pair of talented street performers kicks things off in style.

From there, make your way to McGeary’s Irish Pub or Common Roots at Quackenbush Square—both just a short stroll away. Each stop features scheduled live buskers, lunch specials, and drink options, all waiting to be enjoyed and stamped in your passport.

Then, at 3 p.m., wrap up your afternoon at the Irish American Heritage Museum, where all the musicians gather for a final jam session you won’t want to miss. Complete your passport with a stamp at the Museum and you’ll be entered for a chance to win fabulous local prizes!

Great music. Great drinks. Great company. Grab your friends and raise a glass to a perfect summer afternoon in downtown Albany!

Passports just $20 – available online or onsite* at theREP starting at noon.

*While supplies last. This event is capped at 100 patrons.
